In an attempt to see some lithics I have picked up and maybe more common in Nebraskas heartland.

Here you go Fat. This is the only chalcedony scraper we've ever found. 1 1/2 inches in length.

This is the only k.r.f. Piece I’ve ever found.
Also a couple little 8 pointers “squaring “

What you have there is Kansas Flint Hills Permian chert. The variety is call Florence D.
More examples from my neck of the woods.
We don't find much Florence D 11KBP but when we do it's always a treat. I've always liked finding any of the banded materials.

It is always fun finding different lithics from distant sources in the region you hunt.

I feel fortunate finding the attractive artifacts made of the colorful varieties of Smoky Hill
jasper sources found in your region. That material is very popular with most Plains collectors
