Thurday's Haul

I hauled a huge deep freezer to the scrap yard on Thursday. While unloading it I broke the taillight lense on my pickup. Then I got a flat tire driving out of the yard. I got $34.00 for the freezer and a new taillight cost me $40.00.
I repaired the flat tire myself....that was free.

Hahahhahahahaa.......this reminds me of the 18 months I saved my beer cans....trying to be part of the recycling bandwagon. After smelling these stinking bags of beer cans in my garage for a year and a half I finally took them into the recycler. Minus the fuel and time to take them in.....I netted about $12.50....not even enough for another 18pk of Coors Light.
"note to self......I either need to drink a LOT more.....or move closer to the recycler".

Doing the right thing by recycling......Noble.

Netting $34.00 in the process.....rewarding.

Breaking the tail light and losing $6.00 on the whole deal...... Priceless. (literally).
