The "Thurston Magic / Wonder Coin" was issued in 1926. The metal is zinc. It;s probably a promotional token from famed magician Howard Thurston's performances, but it could also have been supplied with various retail magic trick items and sets bearing his name. In any case, it was rated R-6 (26-50 known) in F. William Kuethe, Jr.'s Magician's Tokens and Related Items, published in 1978. Can't seem to find a value for it in print sources. Other Thurston "coins" or tokens list for $40-60 in Fine condition in current price guides; however, one recently brought just $10.50 on eBay.
