Flinty ones, Spent an hour of the cool morning at a site I hadn't been to for about 6 mos. This time of year we get some really high tides that get up under the bank and drag stuff out from under the midden. It was like everything was cleaned out by the lawn guys this morning. Some of the oldest shell from the early archaic was getting left out in the open to peruse. Found some pottery, bone, and this Delhi made from Edwards Gray that patinad to a milky white. It still has a good point on it too. Thanks, Lone Star

You have a great place to hunt and you found a killer point :icon_thumleft: Thanks for sharing this awesome find :hello2:

Good job on finding that point, Lone Star!
I bet (with it being that white color) it was kinda hard to see amongst all those shells?

Thanks Guys, You know a funny thing about that. I didn't have my camera with me yesterday as I left it in the truck. It would have been a classic "in situ" picture. Where the point plopped down from under the cut out bank, it was inbetween shell piles. I stuck my head up in the undergrowth between logs and stuff and I saw it laying flat, outlined against the gray clay/mud mix. It took me a few minutes to get to it as the mud was trying to pull off my rubber boots and I had to probe for snakes before sticking my arm down there. At first glance from 6 feet away It sure looked like a Nolan, I was sure hoping it wasn't another leaf with a flinty look.
That area has developed a 5 foot undercut in some places. All kind of stuff hides in those nooks. You can't get in there in the warm months with a normal tide level without worrying about gators and cottenmouths. Thanks again, Lone Star
