"Time" to "putt" an end to my gem and silver streak......
I last dug silver on 3-04-07. It was a 1920-D Merc. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,73091.msg534792.html#msg534792. Took the kid to scouts and hit a school near my home. Got this in about 15 minutes. Fastest I ever found silver. 6" deep. A few pennies and another dime and nothing else.

Sunday I hunted alone in the evening from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Hit some streets up for abandonment. Signs all around the property said 'no trespassing' so I didn't. It was a whole residential block and a half. I was tempted, but, nailed along the streets for 4 hours. No silver. I was surprised. I did dig the clock and a bunch of lead and copper crap. The copper meter lock is my second. Doesn't help much in dating the area since the houses around here go about 50-80 years before they tear them down. All the clad came from there as well. Most of it was under a thick blanket of live oak leaves. Like my diamond earring
?? I do !!

Saturday I hunted with Beep at a place I have been researching. We didn't turn up anything but some clad. I don't think the homesites were all that old to begin with. He did find a fishing pole all busted up. WAS a nice Bassmaster spinning rig. I forgot to picture that. Hit an area near the "Hill" on Saturday afte rdeparting with Beep and recoverd this putter and various crap. Rollin Wilson Company. I didn't know midgets played golf....

All in in I guess it was okay for three says worth of detecting. Unfortunatley there were no witnesses to the recoveries of the diamond earring and the Roosevelt.
