How long does it take you to go through a box of nickels. I can do it in about 1 hour is that a good time

I do 4 boxes a week and it take me about 30 minutes a box. I date check them all but it goes quick. I have been averaging 2 silver per box and about 30 pre 60's coins.

They are in the fact that the average life span of a coin is about 30 years. Otherwise there is nothing especially collectible about them.

only 4 I pick up about 10 boxes a week. I normaly just look for large mint mark. But I pull pre war nickels too.

I do them in about an hour and 15 mins to an hour and a half, but that includes rerolling all of them as well. I try not to rush because I don't do a high volume of coins, so I like to take my time and enjoy it. I keep pre 60 coins too, it's kind of cool to think that coins from the 30s 40s and 50s are still in circulation, and that you can still find some in pretty good shape.
