time to upgrade?

I've been metal detecting for a few weeks now with my ace 150 and I feel like I need to upgrade. Is it to soon or should I give this detector at least a couple of months?

I purchased an ace 250 late in 2005. I used it less than a month and had fallen in love with this hobby.

Look at it this way..... You can always get more money in life, but you can't get back the time you spent detecting a spot only to come back in 5 years with another detector and see everything that you missed.

If you have the money then go upgrade to the best that you can afford and use the other detector for friends to use and obtaining permission by letting landowners use it.

only two weeks But now you know you
enjoy using a MD.

If your already thinking about it, perhaps it
is time.

Your in the PA area and this would not be the
best time for hunting; so you have time for making
a good decision.

Make every effort in trying out different machines; should
be some clubs in your area, attend a meeting and see what
the locals are using. Every machine in the magazines or on
the web is the best super one on the market; please try
testing them first.

Also if your done with the 150 after only 2 weeks, try getting
the best you can afford, don't want to be getting a third
machine this year. Even it you have to save for an extra month,
or so, get the machine you want.

Last thought, be nice with the wife
