There is no telling how much money is still buried in old fields that were forgotten about and still there.
 

There is also a story, and I can't remember details........Something about a wagon carrying silver, Can't remember exact reason. They got stuck or broke down....And knew they couldn't sit with that kind of silver. It was buried in the woods or a field. The were under attack and the silver supposedly was never recovered. That's in AL. somewhere too...
