Tiny bronze hammer

Hey guys... I found this little bronze hammer head.. It's tiny.. About half an inch tall and wide. Any ideas as to what it's for or when ? Thanks guys. Joe

Look in the base & you will see where the iron blade was fitted/slotted. Its just a fancy end to a knife, lots were imported from a Danish origin. They are middle-high status & came in all shapes, mostly horse feet.
