Tiny decorated buckles ? Help please :)

Hey guys. Hoping one or many of you can ID these for me. Little brass or bronze decorated items. All the same., all found within 2 feet of each other. One however had a centre pice. Are they buckles ? All help greatly appreciated

think they are too small.. Maybe not.. More like this shoe buckle.. But really not sure

yes it's a great community here, some really helpful people. ( including yourself) like I said all info and ideas welcome. Were you thinking along the lines of it being flat at the back? That would be more like a furniture piece then, I thought that myself but one has the centre in it. But again I'm not sure

yes it's very possible...

I think you can rule out buckle. SS maybe onto to it, although maybe a waist belt instead, not really sure.

There are quite a few reasons why its not a buckle, but one clue is, that 'normally' you never get more than 2 of any buckle in any one place.

I have the same feeling as SS here, elements for a bracelet. The back being the same as the front enforces this thought, since that would make them likely cast rather than stamped.

I assume you mean the thin end which would make sense, as I would expect some smaller link chain between each piece.

I'll get closer look later.. But see the one that had whet I thought was a centre part.. That may have been the link.
