Tiny tin/aluminum artifact

Victorian site. Anyone recognize the little pin? Reminds me of the pin from a musical jewelry box, but I think it's too long/ornate. Does screw in on one side. Not broken.

It looks like part of an old mechanical pencil

The screw-in piece looks like a tip for a soldering iron.
Specifically, a chisel-tip style.
