Tip of the coil tricks for the 705?

I was wondering if anyone had a video or could explain how the tip of the coil can be used to an advantage on some targets. I've seen guys with more experience ID gold rings by the way the machine acts when swinging the tip over a target.

The only thing I have seen in that area, is a bottlecap ring as a quarter. To slowly swing while moving back to the tip. If the TID drops off at the tip, it's a bottlecap, if not, it is a quarter. But I also use the raise the coil method. If the ID drops, it's a bottlecap, if not, a quarter. Maybe someone here has info on this with gold.

Thanks. By the lack of eplys I think it may be a good one. I think I figured a little out for gold. I use the stock coil on my gold and it rarely hits caps as quarters but try to hit them at an angle if its a super strong signal. tilt ciol and make passes if that makes sense, buy how your doing caps, theres a way to knock out some* pulltabs vs gold rings.
