Got to the park and nothing, turned out the batteries were dead. New batteries back at it.

Well the town park has a volleyball court, work only one half, found 2 pennies and 2 very rust screws. MD is working so I am glad. Now let's rock.

Hi jarocki,
Good luck....G

Thanks, I only have Saturdays, so I will check next week thanks.

jarocky,
I went to Millers nursing home to see a friend and drove by the volleyball court Sunday evening. I had not noticed it before. It was full of girls playing ball. It looked a bit muddy. Giirls and mud make a good place for lost jewelry. Also good you got the rusty screws out of there, I think some were playing barefoot......GRiley

Wow

Wouldn't it be great to walk in a bank back then and ask for a bunch of change.

Or go back with $100, and just think what you could do, I think AT&T was around.

Harry S. Truman in Tipton during his whistle stop campaign 1948. Nice crowd, Probably some change dropped huh.

There were several tracks that went through town, the depot is (as I was told) the same place, but I know where the depot was in 1880. Could be the depot that runs east and west.

If that was were the depot is now, the ground is so terrible, nothing but gravel and dirt with more gravel. the ground is very hard to dig, almost impossible.

I will put it on my list, tomorrow going to the park in kokomo, for a few hours.

I have o lay been in it once. They told me there once was a skating rink on the outside of town. A company now owns the property, just not home to ask if I could hunt the location. Time frame, 1900-1920
