Some of you may remember a couple of posts I made about the teller at my bank whose boyfriend told her what coins she should be on the lookout for.

Two weeks ago, while picking up my weekly (skunk) box, I asked the teller if she had any other halves -- she didn't, but the 'girlfriend', who was working in the next window, said she had one.

Another one slipped through the cracks.

Nice catch. Those are going for $12 ea. at Apmex. Clean it! It’s just a bullion coin now.

1964 Kennedy halves are worth $982.00 just at face value. :nono:

What are you on about creskol? Face value of a Kennedy is 50-cents. Not sure of melt value but they are $12 all day long at Apmex. I bought 200 for $2395. The 64 is the most common Kennedy half. 450 million made.

That's true, but 1964 of them is still equal to $ 982.00. :laughing7:

Okay, now I get it! Take a look at this 64.

That's quite high actually. You paid 23.95X face value. YOu can buy them for 21X face elsewhere. I used to buy from APNEX, but found most other dealers are cheaper for the same thing. FYI
