To find or not to find

Hey, Well Sunday i'm excited because i found this giant (size 14.5) white gold ring. It turns out we think we fouind the owner so on one hand i'm happy for him, but bummed that i loose $$$$ . I guess i'll hold out for good karma.

Since i'm new to this, are the any rules to finding previous owners?

just depends on how you feel about it. personally id return a class ring or wedding band, but a ring of that size and value would be tempting to keep

I would ask the owner a bunch of questions to make sure it is theirs...

people will get over their losses. should have better fitting jewelry and always take it off before getting involved in anything. i lost a nice gold bracelet once doing something stupid and from then on out i always remembered the bling. have nice citizen watch i got at the same time and still have it after10 years. had to lose the bracelet to keep the watch. i say lessoned learned and keep the bling. all that does is enable people to continue to be irresponsible. just my opinion.
