I think you have a fee of $40.00 a month plus your seller fees to sell on amazon now .. correct or not correct ??

That is the pro-seller fee. It waives a $1 transaction fee, so if you sell more than 40 items a month, it is best to have a professional account.
If you only sell 30 items/month, you have an additional $30 in individual fees, but you still saved $10.

There are other perks too like I think only pro-sellers can be ungated in restricted categories?
