I’m going to a spot in a park where I found a 10” Spanish silver spill with my 11” coil set on recovery 2. My question is should I use my 6” coil or can I use? Will it hit at that depth? I going to go very slow. If anyone have a suggestions let me now. It’s a lightly littered park with deep square nails.

I’d definitely try it out and if it doesn’t work out, it’s easy enough to change it to the 11”.
Good luck!

I was going to say take both coils. I always take both with my Deus. You never know how the grounds gonna act. Good luck.

Sure, give it a try!

IMHO: I would select a portion of the park that you have hunted fairly hard, then by using a new coil and the same settings you may find a few more keepers. I love experimenting with the machine settings, human settings (swing speed...etc.) and surroundings. That's what makes this hobby so much fun.

I would take both. Good luck.

Like Doc said...go for it. A previously producing area, different coil, attack it from a different angle...could be fun! 🙌
