great find DFX, shield nicks are so hard to find as they were only minted a few years. :headbang: I have only found one and that was back in 1976 with my Whites detector at an old hotel foundation in Ft. Worth. It was the only shield nick with half a dozen or so V nicks and a couple of nickel size slot machine tokens. I think they had slot machines in the hotel. ???
