Today finds and some button help please .

This button has a harp on it and the back reads : columbus O m.c. lilly & co . An I.D. would be great . The age range for this ring would also be helpful .

I think the button might be from a band uniform.

I can't believe the stone/glass was with that ring. That almost NEVER happens. I have found one very similar style, if not exactly like yours. It came from an 1800's cellar hole.

I am hunting a 1880s RR camp , That had a house and a few building built just after . In the early 1970's the owner at the time plowed the back lot for a massive garden and his kids found a gun .I am the only one to ever hunt it .Thanks for the info on the carhartt button Don . I was wanting to know about the columbus button though . It looks like it is a time period of 1875 . The ring has no markings other than L & S and was hit with the plow as many things I find are .
