Today was a good day. Even before I put water on the little dime to reveal it's date, I was ecstatic about my finds!



1951 Roosevelt dime
1853 Seated liberty dime *** 160 years old !!!! ***
1909 Barber quarter
1898 Barber Half

Along with 12 Wheat cents, 1903 Indian Head, and a dateless Buffalo Nickle

Like 2 inches down or "an eye can see" surface?

Nope, just caked with dirt on the surface. When I drove by this site earlier in the day I saw a crew had cut a trench for a power cable. But Iwas too late because they were filling it back in as I pulled in. But I decided to hunt the churned up soil after the crew left for the day. There was also a 5 mil OK tax token and half of a makeup case in that bit of soil.
