Hang in ther CC. I know this may sound terrible but two is better than 1 or none. Maybe the next box will be loaded.....good luck.

Keep us posted.

You can count on the posted part, the coins you just never know.

I am Driving out west in a couple of weeks, and then to Alaska. I have a pretty good feeling that there is some stuff out there! Plus Alaska does have ghost towns... :)

Thanks for replying!

i've always heard alaska and hawawii have some older coins because it takes so long for the coins to reach them. there was a guy here a few months ago from alaska and he said he always found buffalos in the rolls he got.

None for me.

I hear you cc.

I finally brought myself to open up box of halves # 208; with the boxes leading up to it being such a disappointment

............and it too was a skunk >:(

Returning some rejects, I did get a 77d Ike from the reject bucket.

Stopped by another bank and "convinced" them to sell me the $366 in loose halves that had in their coin counter. Though it only produced at a 0.8% keeper rate (six halves) it give give me a 40s; that I didn't have yet ! The other five keepers were a 64p, 65, 67, 68d & 04p.

Have (at least) six boxes to pick up this week. Let's see if things don't turn around .................finally.
