have not been getting any halves been working on dimes/nickel todays 2 boxes of dimes I was able to search very quickly they were all 2006D

$100 bag of nickels produced
19 (1950-1959)
6 (1940-1949)
1 1939
no war dates.
rarest 2: 1949s and 1947s

13 Canadian good mix of dates no kings today 1966-1993

Aww, sorry to hear about the boxes of dimes. That can be very disappointing to find all new ones. At least you found some older nickels and some Canadians. The last few nights I finished up $500 in dimes, and found nothing. I also searched $140 in nickels, didn't find any war nickels,or any King Canadian nickels. I did find a handful of pre 1960 nickels. This has been the worst of my nickel and dime searches in a while. Good thing there are plenty of banks around and an abundance of nickels and dimes to search. Keep searching!

What's the deal on the pre-1960 nickels? I haven't been saving any I get, just check my coin collection to see if I need it. I'm saving the copper pennies, but should I be saving the nickels as well?
