No rain this morning so I went over to our local park for the first time. Just got permission to hunt the township parks last Thursday. Hit the playground first and found a cheap ring. NO coins, our township kids must cling to their coinage!
Swung on the way back to the car and found two pennies and a nickel among a ton of deep high tones. No digging in the parks, I didn't have my probe and screwdriver either. I know people at the township, I need to work on them to get permission to dig. I stopped by one of the parks on Friday and hit a bunch of deep high tones just inside the entrance. The area has two ponds where residents have fished for more than 150 years. I'm sure there are historical relics to be found.
