Todays finds another post from Bobbie

David had an absolutely awesome day today.
It was another beautiful, warm, sunny day here and we wasted no time in making the best of it by doing, what else?....metal detecting. We hunted six sites today. At the second site David came up with the big gold earring with the name on it. He had to dig 8 inches to get it, but get it he did. At the last site I was feeling a bit worn out so decided to plop myself in the air conditioned car while he finished the hunt. He came back to show me the size one gold ring and another good sized gold earring. So much for my tranquility about resting. lol
We did find a bit over 13.00 between the two of us and that little bit of silver is an earring I found at the first site.
I gotta tell you I think metal detecting is a wonderful way to spend a beautiful day together.
I hope all of you had a great day and got to get out to find the things we all love to find.
A side note to Nana....I love the emerald ring you found and am green, no pun intended with envy
