I hit the field one more time today. Very cold and windy day :-\
Today was not quite as good as Friday and Saturday but I will take it. Today was a pocket watch, ring, 1946 Wheat Cent, small flat button, etc. I kind of like the horse sturup also (my first)

For the weekend I ended up with 1798 Draped Bust Large Cent, 8 Large flat buttons, three of them are tombac. 4 other keeper flat buttons. A few other odds and ends like a lead seal, totaly wasted spoon, a latch of some kind that says PAT OCT,27 1868. Also included is a shot of all the crap that came along with all of the good stuff.

Enjoy the pics, VPR

WOW!! The owner of the farm "hay field" just knocked on my door.......

The other farm that he and his wife own, BURNED TO THE GROUND ON SATURDAY!! They lost the house and two barns. They also lost 60 sheep and three cows. A horse was able to get out of the barn.

The family will be moving into the farm by me. Loooong story short, I offered to take care of the yard work for the upcomming summer. I think he has bigger fish to fry right now.

I will update this later. VPR
