Today's finds, got something Iron I can't identify!

Hi, this is my first post here as I just discovered the website. This is what I've found today in the woods we own behind my house. The Iron object with two holes I cannot identify. It was found about six inches deep. It was reading as a 37-39.

Looks like a piece of old farm equipment - like a hitch of some sort that would be connected to a tractor or horse-drawn plow or other tool.
