Todays finds

Well I hit a few banks in my travels today. Found 3 67 Kennedys, a 43 p war nickle and 15 2009 dimes. Better than a sharp stick in the eye...

The kennedys were at a bank up the road. They had $100 in halfs. I go in every few days and get $20 worth. Well this was the last roll and only one with silver. Glad I didn't give up.

That's not bad ! I went on a 100 mile road trip once hitting one bank after another. All I got was 14 clad halves. That was the worst road trip I ever took.

The best (hand rolled) I did so far was 10-40%ers from 16 Customer rolls. All 16 were from the same bank.

Usually this is how I do it. I get rolld of dimes and sort them, then I buy rolls of halfs or quarters next door at another bank and sort them, then I go to a third and trade them for dimes or halfs, go back to the lot and go through them and move on and keep going. Usually there are 4 or 5 banks clustered together. I get nickles last or if I know there is a bank that I'm a member of near, because most don't like to take payment in nickles. This is how I spend lunch.........

Oh, and I'm in sales so it's a different town everyday.
