Went to the bank today and spent $20.00. Traded for 1 roll of dimes, 5 rolls of nickels, and 10 rolls of pennies. In total i found one canadian dime from 1989, a 1969 proof nickel in great condition, a canadian penny, A penny from england 1998, a 1959 memorial cent, and 3 wheat pennies 1940, 1955 d, 1956 d. Pretty good finds for one day. The bank had no halves.

Cool finds...

Me and my dad used to do this when I was a youngster... They always made me run back to the gas station to trade the rolls. :)

I tried this again maybe a year or so ago -- didn't find anything good.. I should try agian.

New to this stuff. How can you tell a proof nickle from any other. I'm surprised you got that many wheats.

A proof nickel will usually have an S mintmark, proofs also have a mirror like finish and in some cases can be made of silver.
