Today's hammer and chisel finds

Sorry, gang, it was all clad today. Not worth a photo. It was about 3-4inches down of frozen ground before I would get to the soft dirt, so I only dug the best signals. A couple quarters, some dimes, I hit one dime in the middle with the chisel and bent it in half...was really glad that wasn't a large cent...it really doesn't seem that cold once you are out there...I detected until an hour after dark because there are a couple of streetlights at the site. Maybe next time...

3 inches is a bit too much for me to chisel through. Nate and I went out today. Parts of the one site were frozen pretty solid but where the leaves and snow had insulated the ground only about the top 1/2". I'll post stuff tomorrow as 6 hours out in the cold and wind is exhausting.

Glad you got out. It sounds crazy but there are some things a man just has to do.
