Today's Hunt

FINALLY got out for a more-than-an-hour hunt today. Hit a Park in LaSalle Co that I KNOW has been beat to death by a local club. My second Sac Dollar ever, 41 and 56 quarters, 57 dime and the rest is clad. Liking my E-Trac more 'n more. I'm finally to the point where I can "call" my nickels. 😁

Excuse the crappy pic. It's a crappy cellphone. 😛

Congrats on the great hunt. :occasion14: 3 silvers are not an every day occurrence for most of us.

Thanks, Sarge. 😁 When I first got my Whites 6DB...3 silvers woulda been a crappy day. I'm sure as I get more comfortable with the E-Trac, I'll get back in the groove.

I have a eTrac I bought new a few months ago and am amazed at how accurate the VDI is. I can call a nickel, copper vs. zinc penny (no more digging zincs) and no more small pieces of foil...
It is fun to use when you want a slow, mellow, deep hunt... But if you are in a trashy area the F75 has no match. I go in first with my F75 then come back and pick a spot clean with my eTrac...

My nickels are 10-12/10-13 every time... I pulled an 1887 V Nickel this year and it was constant 12/12 ... :)
Gary from Oregon...

All mine are consistent 12/12 or 12/13, Gary. Are you in Oregon the State or Oregon the Illinois City?

Oregon the State....
