Clad the Impaler

Hi everyone. I had a pretty good day today, returning to the park where I dug a beautiful '24d merc last Friday. Rumor had it that this park had been pounded for decades and was hunted out. Not quite. I dug silver coins no. 85 and 86 today. #85- a beautiful dateless standing liberty quarter (only my second; it's a type II); #86- a nice '44d merc. Also found a '32 Canadian cent (my first George V), 7 wheats ('20s-'40s), a play dime from 1954, and a little over $5 in clad. I have now officially QUINTUPLED my silver coin total this year compared to last year (oh what a difference an E-Trac makes!!!)!!
Todays multi silver day definitely helped ease the pain of stepping in multiple piles of dog poop
(maybe THAT'S why this particular section still had goodies...). Anyway, pics are below. Enjoy!!
