Todays Old Beach Finds, 5 gold rings, 18 silvers

Good day to be in the water, water temps are running around 70. Old Beach from the 1920's to the 60's, upper part of the Bay on the East side. Little bit of a ride but makes for a nice ride home when you do well. Gold rings #56 to #60.. To tired to clean the silver, not in the best of shape but adds to the fun of digging...
Funny my buddy got spoofed by a skate, I seen it from a distance come out of the water just a few feet from him, they were chasing the bait fish...sure looked like a couple sharks with the two fins breaking water

Last year 25 gold rings 3 plat.., this is my first year of full time hunting. 4 to 5 days a week, still learning and so much more to learn..

Just retire last year... Life is Great..

Thanks G424... Take it from me, You are doing Great, I know how hard it is to land hunt .. I never found Gold on land in the 5 years I hunted it.. and some of the hunts you have had of late, they don't get any better..

Thanks CRM..You know I will have to check on that, I still need to clean all. One of the best parts of the day is going thru and cracking the crust off the coins, and cleaning the rings..I was so tired last night from the driving I just postponed that part......will keep you informed.

Thanks Frank, I do use a sifter with 1/4 openings but the holes are just a bit large for the stones. These rings have been out there for many years and more then likely have been tossed around and finding the stones would have been a miracle. Sure would have been nice .. I think this year I have found maybe 10 golds with out the stones.. shame because they are beautiful rings..

Thanks Buddy, Yes they don't happen to often like this.. I was beat so I just did what was needed to the treasure.. here is the hunt a few days before when I cleaned all I found..

And I could have swore it was sharks with my eyes...

cleaned silver...did fairly well this day also on the silver..
