Today's Relic hunt. First outing in almost two months. (George's button added)

Well it's been awhile since I posted here mainly because we could'nt get out to hunt. Today George and I got out for a good four hours. Felt good to be walking in between the rows again. Nothing spectacular, but did manage another full working crotal just like the one I got on our last hunt. George found a nice Naval button with alot of detail. Also, what looks to be a toasted KG copper and other misc buttons. I'll add his photos when I get them. Take care out there and Happy Hunting.

Wow, what an assortment of finds, I really like the bell.

I have found several of those type bells over the years and always thought that they were goat bells but my uncle that had a antique store went thru my junk boxes one day and told me they were sliegh bells and bought all of them i had. I still keep anything interesting or neat I find even when I have no idea what it is...........because someone will and might want them LOL thats why i have a large pile of junk :icon_pirat:

Nothing wrong with that day, only if they could all be that productive.

Sounds like a plan. I'll be at your house at 7:00 a.m. sharp, and don't forget the spiked coffee.

Here's George's stuff. The button is in Alberts book on page 99, Navy, one piece with border and circle rope, plane anchor, 13 stars RV10.

Yes two of them there. The larger one has the part with the shank popped out.
Take care, Mike
