After cutting the wood for the group hunt,I went for a short drive to check out a spot I have meant to hit since last fall..was the site of an old schoolhouse....
Found a couple keepers...
1907 V nick
FOB----Says "Corn the Joliet Shellers" back says "not how cheap but how good"
A few odds and ends, the wire came out shaped like a heart and have a feeling it was made to be a gift...

Enjoy and have fun out there

Nice stuff there!!!

That fob is really interesting. The Joilet Corn Shellers also had a pinback button that I saw when I did a search on them.

Very nice!

Nice keepers Soupie, hit an old school house today also, No V-Niks for me, will be posting later today,
need to clean my barber half, merc, I.H.s and wheaties.

Very nice set of personal effects. What's the ring in the middle of the heart-shaped wire? Looks interesting to say the least! Shiny too!

Can't wait to cut Neil's hair!

Hey Neil if you have that link with the button I would sure like to see that, all I could find were flyers and parts manuals....

Nice pic LB.....Neil will be having nightmares for sure now :laughing7:

Also add on a 1888 IH I recovered from a newly aquired site of an old church this evening.....

It is hard to describe what joy it is to be on vacation... :hello2:

Nice finds. For some reason, I really enjot digging up those v's. seems like if there's no silver in the field, there's always plenty of Nicks. Looks like the old timers never dug those.

Great finds, congrats!
