Ended up having time for a real short hunt, but my new spot produced! Got a barber dime at 7", the Franklin at 2"!, the barber quarter at 5-6", and the Merc at 3".

This site is all over the place with depths and iron, but keeps producing. The quarter is a semi-key with under 1 million produced. I'm happy this spot is dynamic and should have a lot to offer in the future.

Happy hunting!

Steve

Scrappy , Great Finds ! Do you have any idea what this site was a century ago - must have been some commerce happening .

Nice to have a go to spot that will consistently produce silver bud. Idiots like me spend hours hiking through the woods just with a small hope that I might find some colonial treasure. Nobody ever said I was smart. If they did I sure didn't hear it lol

awesome job by you!

that's another great hunt!, whats your silver count up to, 2548??

at this rate it will be !

Great variety of silvers there, denomination and age!

Lol. I should figure my count out. But a feast one day can easily be famine the next. After three hunts I may leave this site a little while and start some new places. Go-to places are always nice to have in the back pocket (famine).

I love colonial sites but early is hard to find around here. Almost as hard as finding time with a job, wife, and kids. Lol

Yup that's why I opted for the no wife and no kids lifestyle lol

I totally understand that!, I was just telling OldDude, I have LESS time to hunt this year due to working dayshift now as opposed to nights.........sigh

That's why I work for myself. If I find a hotspot I'll just take a few days off 8-) Screw the schedule lol

I was just reading my replies and realized that I am one selfish dude

its ok Abe, we don't judge you too much. We just judge people by their finds!

Yup I make a hell of a lot more $ working less hours

Work is a four-letter word.

Well considering I haven't found a damn thing since the beginning of January you must have a very low opinion of me right now. I'm gonna do my best to change that in the next couple weeks

Great job more treasures there......keep searching.

That's better than hiking through the woods with hopes of finding a IHP or one silver.

Awesome silver finds!
