I hit the riverbank today and found two fired bullets on a steep bank.I had to hold onto a vine with one hand and swing the detector with the other. I also found a 1905 IH which was cool. My second site was back to the grassy field where I pulled a round ball and a dropped 3 ringer.
On the way home I stopped by an old home that I have permission to hunt and pulled a 37 merc. About 6 hours total hunting today and I am going to try again in the morning . It is always nice not to go home empty handed. I think I am going to try a new area I have been eyeballing. If I can get into the woods I may find a bullet or two.

Bird, you are really getting into digging CW bullets. As a veteran hunter told me one time, they didn't fall out of an airplane and there are more there. HH, Quindy.
