Found these today. Another old copper and some buttons and a thin piece of silver. Enough to keep it interesting. Good luck to all. Art

Looks like a good hunt to me. Can't wait until tomorrow.

Wow you sure are hitting it hard. Everyday you post goodies. Congrats on having fun and hunting a producing field.

nice hunt trapper. It is stuff like that , that keeps me going. You have been finding quite a few of them old coppers. Did you try those foundations you where talking about?

The land owner showed me one today, looks like a hunt for the winter, a lot of vegetation. Just more for the future

From what you found more coins might be near by!!! Good luck in your next hunt!!!

Nice finds Art.

Actually it's a very interesting hunt. Buttons are always great but that piece of silver catches my eye. I see it's been holed which makes me think it was used for trade. And, as I'm sure you know, silver coinage back then was taken at silver weight and not by face value. A sliver piece like that would have been worth a little bit

Cool hunt man

A good hunt Art! Flat buttons are always good recoveries. WTG, Q.

I second the Brown Bess side plate, which is a wonderful discovery. And...maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but is there a hint of an RP on that broken pewter button? You may have found something special.
