Post this in the "What is It" forum with a pic and I'm sure you'll get an answer in less than 15 minutes.

Union Pacific operated though passenger service over its historic "Overland Route" between 1869 until May 1, 1971. The last passenger train operated by UP was the westbound City of Los Angeles. After May 1, 1971 Amtrak assumed operation of long-distance passenger operations in the United States.

Also: "Souvenir aluminum coin from the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco. The back side reads: "UNION PACIFIC, THE OVERLAND ROUTE, ROAD OF THE STREAMLINERS AND THE CHALLENGERS. ALUMINUM IN THESE FAMOUS TRAINS FURNISHED BY ALUMINUM COMPANY OF AMERICA". Coin measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Excellent condition. $22 Order #C70101"

I have a few of these tokens also along with other Golden Gate Exposition tokens.
They are pretty common.

I lived near San Francisco and I collected foreign coins in the 1960's
Dealers would throw these kinds of tokens into their "foreign" junk boxes.

I have a family connection with the Golden Gate Expo at Treasure Island.
My parents did attend it but separately, as they did not meet until 1946.
My mom also was stationed in the Navy at Treasure Island in 1944-1946.

:)
