Had a chance to hunt our old family farm house this weekend. Didn't discover anything too old but I love finding these tax tokens. I retesting time in our history. Also found a very heavy metal designed wing. I think it had a mate at some point but not sure. I found some writing on the back. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for looking!

Nice finds asmerri.

Enlarged it looks like his wheaties are 1944 and either 1925 or 1926. I dug a nice 1936 one today but didn't find the old silver coins that I wanted around big ole trees, lol. Andi

Yep the wheats are 44 and 26. The dirt in Oklahoma is MUCH more forgiving on coins than they are where I live in North Texas for some reason.

I don't really think that the wing piece is silver, I'm just curious what the markings on the back are. The first word appears to be "Fox"

Nice finds and nice granite countertop--we have what appears to be the same stone in our kitchen :)
