Back out late this afternoon, for another short session. Star find a battered 11th Century lead Viking brooch. Also hit two more hammered, both poor condition wise. This is the 3rd Viking disc brooch I've found, that's one every ten years .

Viking brooch? You mean like from a real Viking from like 850 years ago? WOW! I think that is a fantastic find.
