Found a ton of old buttons in my parents front yard in south jersey that used to be a farmers field. I'd appreciate any info and dates you guys can give me on them. Seem to be a very wide variety. Found about 2 dozen total. Some of them read: Missouri Pacific Lines, WU, lrc co, metropolitan abc, and there is the small eagle one. I appreciate any info. Thanks!

Nice variety of buttons! I'm having a bit of trouble making out the details on them but that's OK because I'm no expert anyway. I do know that the object at the bottom is a dress weight or curtain weight. It was sewn in to the hems of dresses or curtains. There is sometimes a number on it to indicate the size.

The last pic is not a button, but a hem weight.

Thanks guys! No info on the buttons?

I'm sure some people will chime in, I concur that the last item is a hem weight. Looks like you are on a great site! Keep digging!

Great find! I recently sold a Missouri Pacfic Lines jacket button, the one you found is a cuff button. Interesting that you found this in Southern NJ. As a retired Amtrak worker, it gives me a thrill to see fellow diggers who find old railway memorabilia!
