Took all the kiddos for a hunt before We left and found a few Cool things. Got a 1920 Wheat, a 60’s Boy Scout Token & a round stamp of some kind. Also got something that looks old but can’t ID it. Looks like a fancy suspender clip or something🤷🏼‍♂️. Couldn’t find any pics to go by. Any ideas Would Be Very Much appreciated. It’s the larger thing on the left side of the picture. Thanks for any answers in advance! Happy Hunting!!!

Good, interesting finds. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like the slotted part was for a button to push thru and the other part for a ribbon to go on.

Perhaps used on a top pocket??

It does look like that. Possibly from a political or fraternal convention.

I think your mystery piece might be equestrian related.

I think ARC is on the right track
I think it is a piece of horse tack

No idea about the "thing", but I think the hunt--in general (i.e. the items found)--was just the thing to inspire/encourage/stimulate the kiddos. 😉
