I found the fuselage on the right on my last water hunt just a few days ago. It was a mess so I tumbled it and just took it out. Its a 1930's era Tootsie toy UX214. The picture on the left is a captured image from ebay.

It could take years to restore a vintage plane. Good luck. :laughing7:

I have found a Tootsie toy Battleship 8" long. The dug condition, I'd say has some battle damage.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Cool old toy. Makes me wonder what's under some of those old houses. I remember playing with matchbox cars and tonka toys under my gramps house.

That is cool, I would make a wing, a prop and some landing gear for it and display it again.

love the tootsie toys, congrats and thanks for posting

Very nice,, balsa wood and a little patience ,,,
Congratulations

Has the makings for a great winter restoration project Mike.
At least you have a pic of what it originally looked like.

Nice find,
Dave
