The 14 yr. old granddaughter is up from Mexico visitin this week. After everybody else took her around to tourist life sites, we took her to the outdoors. She's never seen snow and lives almost at sea level, so were took her up north to the Colorado River area where it was a little lower and warmer with less snow on the ground. Wildlife was cooperative so she got to see some mule deer and bighorns. We stopped up on Ute Pass and everybody thought I would push the young lady into the snow, but surprise, the daughter got pushed. Since she has no experience with snow, everytime we talk about 'nieve'(snow) she forgets and thinks we're talkin about ice cream, which they call nieve.
