Sunday was a nice sunny day to be out detecting. No wind to speak of
in the woods just the sounds of cranes and geese flying over. Managed
to pull a few more goodies from here. Oklahoma tax token, Rival dog food
tag, Some type of leg or bird band (large bird by the size of this Al. ring)
that reads Ill. dept. Agri. 1938 Double G 74759 might be from an owl or
hawk, 6 wheaties 17d,18d,35,41d,44d,45, (39 total from this site YTD),
and a 38p Merc.. Finally the last of the frost was out of the ground so the
digging was very easy. HH DFW

I'd love to find that dog tag!

Found an Okie tax token myself last year. Thought it was an omen - "For Old Age Assistance"! :laughing7:
