I hit a local "gold buyer" seeking to barter for a few coins and for further verification of my recent cud error find. He was already engaged in another transaction, and the seller's pockets (of junk) seemingly had no end. The buyer explained that $100 peso bills were of no value to him and that the pile of assorted foreign coins were worth very little after refinery costs. The gentleman again asked if he could offer at least $5 for the assortment, after being turned down I showed him a couple of dimes I knew the dealer would snap up.
Of the 30 coins only one mexican centavos dated newer than 1970, these were a few of the more notable mentions.
1947 1/10 Gulden .640 Silver 1.4 Grams -- http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3077.html
1960 1/4 Gulden .640 Silver 3.57 Grams -- http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7662.html
1952 1 Gulden .720 Silver 10 Grams -- http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces14069.html
---->
Not included in the 15 gram equation was a 1966 Peso .100 Silver 16grams -- http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3550.html, a coin that many local buyers will actually not purchase unless in large quantities. (due to low returns after refining)
_____
I made a few neat silver bearing finds, the cud penny was legit/semi-valuable and the fella whoring his flea market buys even went home happy. (his final payout including the dimes was $80) Definitely a good day at the "gold buyer".

P.S.
1 - $5 CWR Dimes
Took a peek as I dumped it into the cash register while at work today, found a canadian sailboat(nickel). Let this one slip into the wild.
