My wife bought me the 5” coil for my Kruzer. My buddy bought a 6” coil for his Nox 800. We have an old trash lot that we have been hunting heavily. Went out the previous week with standard size coils. I found the only coin which was a memorial cent. Lot is full of trash. We took our detectors out with our new small coils. Small coils worked great in this trashy lot. I found a Mobil oil lapel pin plus one wheat penny and a jefferson nickel. My buddy did great with his Nox 800. He found 3 wheat pennies & 3 nickels (jefferson, buffalo & a v nickel). Got to hunt about an hour before rain & lightning ran us off. Will be heading back out on New Year’s Eve.
