Just got back from beach south of Ft. Pierce..extremely high tide rough seas, ocean water flooding A1A in a couple spots. Even more erosion.

Cool! I wish I could make it down. Have you ever hunted bath tub reef? I've never done well there, but I have this aching feeling about that place. Just one of those things I guess. Good luck & HH! Chris

First weekend of detecting ever..just bought used minelab exc. 800, headed for colored beach. Bathtub is an unusual formation, an ancient coral reef which extends south towards Jupiter and north for several miles. South of St. Lucie is a live reef, on of the northernmost on the coast.
