Treasure hunting Sarasota, Florida

Hello friends!
Looking for advice where to do some treasure hunting around the Sarasota area? Or if anybody wants to help someone like me out being new to the treasure hunting hobby and kind of new to the area here in Southwest Florida? Any help would be much appreciated...thanks Rick!

I'm in Sarasota as well. There's supposed to be some old wrecks nearby. I'm about to start really digging into research. There's loads of history here. Just gotta do the homework.
If you guys have any sites you're curious about of any locations you want to hunt with a partner let me know.

I am here also and I have been doing it a long time the main thing you have to do is get out there and swing and dig.
