Treasure in Catskill found after 17 years

I have launced out of Dutchman's Landing for tournaments for the last 12 years. I have also fished every foot of the surrounding shoreline. I was aware of this contest, but never gave it much thought. Now I have to wonder if I was ever in the right place at the right time.

I actually went so far as to get the Map? that the Catskill tourism booth (just off of NY Thruway exit 21) were handing out, but never could make any headway with the contest to the point of even determining a place to even begin to look. Glad someone finally figured it out. Wonder what the rest of the story is, and how they solved it.
